Our youth are our future, and I firmly believe that each young person has worth and a purpose in life. Many times young people, simply because of their youth and inexperience, will choose the wrong path… gangs, drugs, violence…. the list is endless. Some will have police records, do jail time and drop out of high school, leaving them on the fringes of our society. Rather than leave them unemployed and uneducated, increasing the possibility of a lifetime of dead ends, YouthBuild provides them a second chance.

YouthBuild takes these young people and gives them hope by providing understanding and the skills they need in order to navigated our world. YouthBuild quite literally allows these young individuals to rebuild their own lives.

I've been fortunate enough to witness the tremendous impact YouthBuild's programs have had on these otherwise lost young people. The success stories of G.E.D.'s earned, interview and job skills learned, and ultimately jobs and livelihoods secured are inspiring to hear.

That's why I've supported this outstanding organization, and will continue to support it in the future.
