	YouthBuild Lake County is a licensed general contractor and has received one of only three Community Housing Development Organization (CHDO) designations from Lake County. Our trainees have helped to complete one demolition project and have built three affordable homes in North Chicago. We will begin our fourth and fifth homes in the 2008-2009 progam year. Building in their communities gives our trainees a real sense of pride in addition to improving their marketable construction skills. Click here to see one of our projects in progress.
